ServiceMaster by Glenn's springs into action to help local family-owned business
On December 5th, 2023, ServiceMaster by Glenn’s responded to a water damage call from Corey’s Pharmacy, a local family-owned business serving Vero Beach since 1956.
When an employee arrived to open the pharmacy that morning, they found a good portion of the store flooded and knew they needed to call for help to ensure minimal business loss. The source was determined to be from a plumbing line back up, which turned this project into a category 3 water damage.
Our team of technicians, led by company owner Keith Grella, responded promptly to initiate the water extraction and begin the drying process. We promptly briefed the store employees on the necessary steps and procedures that needed to take place for proper decontamination.
To prevent further damage, furniture, contents, and all affected store inventory were promptly removed. Specialized equipment was deployed to facilitate drying and eliminate contaminants and odors from the air. Throughout the entire remediation process, the pharmacy continued to operate without disruption.
Through the implementation of containment measures, air scrubbers, and highly effective decontamination procedures, we successfully ensured a safe and healthy environment for both staff and customers alike.
