Read more about how ServiceMaster by Glenn's assisted another ServiceMaster franchise in the emergency water cleanup that occurred at this nationally-ranked hospital.
On the night of June 13th, 2023, our owner, Keith Grella, received a direct call from ServiceMaster by Reed, the preferred ServiceMaster franchise in Broward County, regarding emergency water damage at the Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital. With Keith’s history as a large loss consultant and the extensive list of large loss projects we’ve handled, ServiceMaster by Glenn’s was the right team to assist with this job.
Our West Palm Beach emergency response team responded to the job immediately to get the water damage under control and prevent it from spreading to other areas of the hospital. With 7,000 square feet affected, it was imperative the water was extracted immediately so no further operations were hindered by the rising flood waters.
When both ServiceMaster teams arrived on site, along with the team at ServiceMaster by Reed, they discovered flooding on the first floor of the hospital from severe storms that had impacted the area and began extracting the water immediately. After the standing water was completely removed, high-velocity air movers and industrial-sized dehumidifiers were placed throughout the entire space to begin the dry-out process.
Through a collaborative effort, the flood damage was minimized, which ensured this nationally-ranked hospital could continue its important service to the community.
