Vero Beach Water Damage Requires Quick Response & Some Restoration Muscle
On June 8th, 2023, ServiceMaster by Glenn’s received a call regarding a water damage that occurred to two businesses in downtown Vero Beach. Both businesses that are next door to each other were under active construction, including roof repairs. Due to this, portions of the roof were open and exposed to the elements, which was to their detriment when a thunderstorm rolled through the area.
Our team of technicians was on-site immediately to assess and remediate the damage. Multiple levels of drywall were affected and standing water was throughout both businesses. A portion of the roof in one of the bathrooms had already fallen apart due to the amount of water damage.
Extraction was performed to remove any of the standing water and demolition was completed in the areas heavily affected. A generator was needed to provide power to over 80 pieces of drying equipment that were placed.
Our technicians and office staff worked closely with the owners of the companies and other parties involved to make sure they were kept up-to-date on the progress of the dry-out, and any other information they needed to be aware of. After a week of demolition and equipment placement, everything our team placed was removed and the businesses were able to continue the construction process.
ServiceMaster by Glenn’s was happy to help in providing our services to these two businesses so they could get back on track to opening their doors to customers!
